Seed Blends

We've designed specialized seed mixes inspired by local native plant communities that will enhance habitat in your own backyard or for larger scale projects.

Scatter these mixes on bare, weed-free soil and water in.  Late summer or fall sowing is best - September is ideal.  Some species germinate right away and grow though the fall; others don't appear until the spring. Most species will bloom in the first or second year, though some species take several years to bloom from seed.

See our Seeding Instructions handout for sowing details.

Minimum order $25 on all mixes. Inquire at info@saanichnativeplants.com for seasonal availability. Orders can be mailed or picked up from our nursery location.
